The album “Crown” was created with a lot of late nights sessions, benevolence and passion. Naturally, Tru Def wanted to make his first independent album a way to promote happiness, peace and the ability to have faith in your dreams. The concept “Crown” derived from the idea of everyone wearing an invisible crown in their own unique way. The janitor at the chicken shack has an invisible crown just as the top guy who works for Microsoft. To live your life to the fullest, you must discover your passions and let them guide you. “Crown” features a unique set of sounds infused in a way that you feel the positive electricity through your veins and you also get a sense of how passionate Tru Def is about setting a new example for the modern day leader. In the end, we only get one life to live and while you’re here, you might as well make a positive impact and be timeless.
“Crown” defies the laws of structure. There is no perfect way to make art nor is there a perfect way to be. Embrace your own unique path to success. For his first independent album, Tru Def creates a fluid sound of art that is gravitating and addictive. Tru Def has taken the responsibility to remind each person that you have everything you need to succeed. Sick beats and evoking lyrics were brought to empower you as much as it motivated him to create this art. As the album unfolds, you’ll find yourself closer to understanding why Tru is the way he is. From speaking about his dream to rising to prominence in the music industry to one day reach a platform where he can inspire massive crowds. This is mere beginning of greatness. Be dope, surround yourself with positive people and wear your crown.
